I recently saw the episode of Good Eats where Alton Brown tackles his own homemade protein/energy bar (Power Trip, first aired in 2005). Serpico and I, both watching at our respective houses, texted each other immediately: “WE HAVE TO MAKE THESE!” (meaning the protein bars, we’re dorks). Anyways, I anticipated not being able to find most of the ingredients in the regular grocery store so I hit Trader Joe’s first last night, getting some things (the most important thing, soy protein powder, and then Whole Foods today for the rest.   • Would you please share the measurements and proceedure for making the bars, oven temp, etc. They look delicious!
