Angry young man leaves India in search of fame and fortune.

He goes to an Indian restaurant with hopes of re-creating the experience of being “back home.” It’s a warm summer day. He orders a Mango Lassi. The orange yogurt drink (The stomach turning orange is the first warning!) typically found in restaurants in the US is borne to his table. He recoils at the color, takes one sip, sputtering and shaking with rage he storms out to open a chain of Indian restaurants across the US. The name of the chain: Lassi Palace. The main item on the menu – Mango Lassi made the way his family made it back in India. More…
