“I started following both Adam and Taza on Twitter and read an exchange between them about creating chocolate syrup. I did a quick chocolate experiment and posted the results to Twitter. And then I blogged about it.
With that I secured an invite to visit Taza. I couldn’t have been more excited. And I don’t get excited about much these days.”

Tastebuds A Ringin’
“…the Liberty Bell impresses with the amount of care on display, enough to elevate it above the dreary mediocrity so often seen at quick-service places.”
JP May Get Lionette’s
Brewery would be “the epicenter of Jamaica Plain’s food scene, since it would house not only Lionette’s, but also Ula, and the reopened Bella Luna and The Milky Way.”
The Brewer is Back
Brewer Dann Paquette is back in the USA “brewing up some lovely beers,” inlcuding “Baby Tree, which is a quadrupel brewed with dried plums.”
Sample it tonight at Federal Wine & Spirits.
But is it Less Filling?

Run on Crunkies
Limeduck give a status update on the Porter Exhange. Greedily snags last box of Crunky biscuits from the soon-to-be closing Kotobukiya Market.
And Lamb as Well
Eat and Destroy finally noshes at the famous Fordee’s in Watertown and finds no lamb on the premises.
Insert Hen Metaphor Here
“Survey says: Arlington wouldn’t mind if chickens came home to roost”
Double Expresso With Shot of Type O
Cave Cibum spies this ominous sign on backdoor of Starbucks in Newton Centre.
The Taxman Cometh; The People Eateth
“Who knew that the tax deadline day also meant that you can score free food and good dining deals?”

Smorgasboards:
Where?
“Does anyone know if Spirits Restaurant is still open or has it been sold?”
Ingredient Meccas
Prowling for great “Ingredient Meccas.” (But come on, “something ethnic”? Let’s dispatch that hoary old, pontentially offensive description shall we?)
