Liquid Therapy from Cocktail Virgin Slut
There are a lot of great resources out there for cocktail recipes with a bevy of classic cocktail books and a thousand and one online guides.
With all this choice, more often than not, I turn to the local cocktail experts at Cocktail Virgin Slut when I want a shot of creativity. Need to find a drink to make with, say, Smith & Cross rum or yet another Charlie Sheen-inspired cocktail? You’ll find it here.
The site usually features recipes for cocktails by Boston bartenders — these folks get out to a lot of bars around town and, as the saying goes, they “drink and tell.” But they also do a little drink-related scientific experimentation every now and again. Recently, they undertook a hyper-detailed study of the Effect of Glass Temperature on drinks. Ultimately, it’s this kind of rigorous dedication that really sets them apart.
