Food Therapy from Powisset Farm

Photo: Todd Dimmick

Since PRK’s been missing the chronicles of Powisset Farm’s Meryl LaTronica these past couple of months, we thought it would be fun to bring you some Food Therapy not from Meryl, directly, but from the blog that has grown from the fruits of her labor.

Enter Tod Dimmick. Tod curates and writes the Powisset Farm blog, created to help Powisset’s CSA members make the most of their bountiful shares — a common refrain. You might think of the blog as more or less a recipe box, one full of interesting, accessible, tantalizing recipes. I hungered after these, especially: Fried Sage Carbonara, Fennel and Chicken Slaw (above), Zucchini and Herb Fritters and Quick Whole Grain Corn Bread.

These are just my favs, however. Peruse the index of Powisset-inspired recipes to your heart’s delight. There are a lot of them! Tod’s been doing a whole lot of great eating — and drinking. He writes the wine column TastingTimes as well.
